CCF Projects

BENIN

Since 2019 we have collaborated with the NGO Équilibre Bénin founded by the iron will of Madame Costanzo Facia whose work is perpetrated by a team of professionals who run a center in Begtabo in the Abomei Calavi district.

Since 1997, Équilibre Bénin has been providing free care and rehabilitation to the district’s handicapped through unceasing work involving doctors social workers for the physical and psychomotor re-education of children and adults.

Costantino Cutolo Foundation since 2019 has been supporting the Handy project by accompanying a group of 40 children in physical and psychomotor rehabilitation.

Our service consists of ensuring that the mothers are able to reach the center twice a week so that their children receive the necessary care.

The mothers have found in the center a point of gathering and cohesion by being able to find a reference point that can guide them in the difficult management of their children’s disability and its implication on the entire family unit. So not only children but all families are assisted.

Since 2021 together with the tireless team of Équilibre Bénin we have initiated the Santè project for the improvement of the health conditions of the same group of children and have involved others.

We organized through the collaboration of a local pediatrician a health care pathway that not only expanded the group of people who knew the activities of the NGO but also significantly improved the resolution of some cases.

CAPE VERDE

Since 2022, we have been collaborating with OMCV, Organização das mulheres cabo-verdianas, with the section of the island of Sant’Antao, the northernmost of the Atlantic islands of the archipelago.

This is a unique situation where geographical conditions isolate numerous communities. Here, children with disabilities live in extremely difficult conditions, unable to regularly access local health services, even though these are accessible and functioning.

Together with OMCV and local health facilities, we guarantee a group of 20 children with disabilities, scattered in various villages across the island, consistent psychomotor rehabilitation care and are assisting in their reintegration into school facilities. We ensure that families and children have access to basic necessities and health support.

In addition, through regular training sessions, assisted by a psychologist, the mothers of disabled children can access educational exchanges on health issues and the daily lives of their children.

INDIA

LEARN FOR LIFE

Our foundation supports the Learn for Life empowerment project by sponsoring medical care for children at the Badi Asha School in Varanasi and providing two scholarships.

The tireless work of Nicole Seregni and Michail Smith has created a human laboratory where their social enterprise supports the school, located in a difficult neighborhood of Varanasi. Here, 130 girls and boys are offered free food, medical care, and education.

Through an educational program that accompanies them from their early years until they enter the world of work, Learn for Life gives them a secure opportunity for emancipation through vocational training, access to work, and cultural exchange with foreign countries.

MUSKAAN

We support the Muskaan association through a fund for after-school accommodation for 50 girls, managed by Dr. Josephine Kunnacherry, who collaborates with the Family Health Education NGO in New Delhi.

The free after-school program  in a difficult neighborhood of the Indian capital offers a contribution that will guarantee them a fairer position within the complex social and professional fabric of India.

Here, patriarchal customs have traditionally been perpetuated since the early years of childhood education, and for girls, the only opportunity to decide on their marriage and future is through education and vocational training, which can guarantee access to the world of work and economic independence.

The Family Health Education NGO and Muskaan work to ensure that girls have access to a future of economic independence and vocational education.
